PT. Pinole Pier Report
3-24-2017
East Bay Regional Park District
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Gates will be open until 5pm starting on March 4th. Pier work has been completed, and windscreens and benches on the pier are all back in place.
Weather has been mostly rainy with occasional warm, sunny days in between. Fishing has been slower than usual due to rain, wind, and muddy waters.
STURGEON
No catches reported, but the muddy water that we currently have tend to be preferable while sturgeon fishing.
OTHER SPECIES
Sharks and Bat Rays have been rarely caught the last month or two, but they are around. Try Squid on a bottom sliding rig, 2-5 oz weight should hold bottom.
