Shadow Cliffs Fishing Report
3-7-2017
East Bay Regional Park District
Fish plants have increased recently and so has the number of anglers at Shadow Cliffs. This is likely due to the increased number fish plants and the closure of Lake Del Valle.
Water Temperature: 52-58 degrees, depending on depth.
Water Clarity: Visibility seems to vary between 10-15 feet.
Water Level: Water levels are very high at Shadow Cliffs and portions of the path along the lake is under water. This is making it difficult to access the first dock without waders.
TROUT
The lake has been stocked with Mt Lassen Rainbow Trout every week, for the past five or six weeks. Over the past month or so, most reports are coming from the dock along Stanley Blvd. We’ve seen a few 5-7 pound Rainbow Trout coming from that side of the lake.
