Fish Report for 3-5-2017

Cisco’s Report – Week 1 Complete!

3-5-2017
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Good day of fishing until the wind came up and cut the day short. The rain in the morning was a non-factor but the wind that followed was stronger than expected. Fortunately, early morning fishing for Reds and other tasty bottom fish was so good that limits were reached or close enough to it to call it a day. Opening week is now complete so we look forward to the upcoming days of fishing the Channel Islands. Rumor has it there is some game fish out there too, so we will be busy looking around this week. There is plenty of open spots for all the trips this week, fishing both the inner and outer islands. Give us a call to book or you can go online and pick a trip yourself by visiting our website. The season is young and hopes are high it will be another great one! Today’s Fish Count: 6 boats and 146 anglers. 1,315 Assorted Rockfish, 38 Lingcod, 1 Sculpin, 2 Sheephead, 29 Ocean Whitefish, 1 Sole, and 1 Sand Bass.
