Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be good, with 12 to 15 knots and sunny. The wind is welcome, keeping it comfortable for all aboard. Wahoo fishing today, well lets say they had lock-jaw today. Yellowfin fishing continues to be on the upswing, with quality fish being landed.
Largest Yellowfin today, was caught by Sam Raiter. Sam’s fish tapped out at 219 pounds. Other notable anglers today, Joe Amagrande with two Yellowfin in the 180 to 191 range, and Steve George with two Yellowfin, one on the PL68, while the other came on the sardine.
Heartbreak today was Jim Tallerico, who lost a cow right at color after a long battle, when his top-shot gave way. Jim Nailen lost one after a long battle, due to light line (fishing for Wahoo). All in all, everyone is just having a ball. We made a tank of bait tonight, and we look forward to what tomorrow will bring.
