Fish Report for 1-13-2017

Don Castro Report

1-13-2017
East Bay Regional Park District

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The weather has been rainy, and cool this last week. Cold in the mornings and shaded areas with a light cold breeze by afternoon. The heavy rains have raised the level of the lake, and the rising waters started to overtake the favorite fishing spots. There was a plant of 750 lbs the last week of December, and anglers have been catching their fill.

CATFISH

Folks have been trying for catfish using power bait and liver. No one has reported any luck this week. The pier and the dam are the go to favorite spots.

TROUT

Anglers have been using PowerBait to attract trout with some luck. The spots to be are along the Dam’s edge or any lakeside edge close to Dam.
