Mangrove/Whale watching

3-1-2008
Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be wonderful. Flat seas, clear skies, and warm days. Our morning started with a early morning wake-up call. We had an early morning breakfast, then it was time for group one to head to the Mangrove. We spent an hour in the Mangroves, but what a show we had. Just to name a few birds we saw today: Common Moorhen, American Coot, Willet, Whimbrel, Long- billed Curlew, Kingfisher, Double-crested Cormorant, Snowy Egret, Tricolored Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, and a Osprey, just to name a few.

Once we returned to the boat, it was time for more Whale watching. With the great weather, it was easy to find lots of friendly today. With one more day left in the lagoon, we are hoping for excellent Whaling tomorrow. [:{)
