A happy load of angler's and what appears to be an excellent load of bait, courtesy of Everingham Bro's bait Co., set's the stage for success on this annual Let's Talk Hookup 12/15 day voyage. Following a sweet Thanksgiving weekend respite everyone is charged up and ready to rock following our successful, and uneventful (in the right kind of way) departure. An introduction to Mother Nature's less favorable side was mercifully tempered by our direction of travel. South south east kept it right on our quarter, and eventually on our back end, as we slipped and slid down tumbling faces yawing steady in the strong push from astern. Anticipating at least a couple days of easy travel before entering the fishing arena tomorrow is set for seminar's and tackle prep as we chew up the miles enroute to the promised land. At least for now, with the notice of excellent weather pending, we plan a stop along the way to target what we hope will be many ravenous, unsuspecting wahoo. Following a week long rest their short memory should make them prime target's for our style of fishing. But results remain to be seen; a lot can change in a week. On the admin front another reminder to all prospective Isla Guadalupe anglers about the seven day voyage December 26th – January 2nd scheduled to target trophy class yellowfin tuna at the famed outside island. I don't know how many angler's have been following recent fishing reports but those that have see the still incredible results recent, and current, voyages to the island have been producing. 80 – 120 pound class yellowfin tuna at still abundant and have moved back down the island to the most productive catching zones. There is nothing in the way of conditions to suggest that these fish will do anything different between now and the end of the year. We still have plenty of space available on the Black Water sponsored seven day that will feature plenty of superb giveway's and four and a half day's of fishing time at the coveted outside island. Tracy is standing by in the office for calls or angler's can secure reservations through our website on line. The voyage currently has sufficient angler's on the reservation list to set sail on the 26th, but is well short of a full load. With the caliber of the current trophy yellowfin action at the island, and the fact that we are the only vessel offering passage to Isla Guadalupe during this time frame with space available, now is the time to reserve your spot with Tracy. Call soon if you wish to make a final Isla Guadalupe voyage in 2016; time is running out!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
