Lorreto Fish Report

4-6-2008
Arturos Sportfishing Staff

Weather: On the last two weeks we had a most of the time a good weather,
with nice and calm weather conditions, breeze starting to pick up on the
afternoon noon. Only we have wind the last Thursday and Friday. Forecast
temperatures for today 65?? to 85 F, wind 2 to 8 miles, sunrise 7:10 and
sunset 7:45 pm.

Yellowtail: Last week we have had a better fishing compared with this week.
Good fishing on the north side of Catalina Island with yellowtails from 20
to some over 40 pounds, the yellows capture with live bait, 60 pound leader
line, 6 to 7 /0 hooks and 4 oz. lead slider also on the east side of Carmen
Island on the Punta Perico reef and weight 20 to 28 pounds, all this happens
on the last week. This week we had a little slow on the same spots and we
listened on this week the yellowtail not cooperating too much, we hope on
the next week the yellows show with more hungry

Mackerel, we have available in the morning depending on weather conditions
with the bait receiver and also from Loreto or couple miles from Coronado
Island east side from light house early on the morning.
