Trout bite has been excellent this week with anglers using power bait (especially rainbow, chartruse, orange and sherbert), night crawlers (doused with garlic attractant), lures, jigs and senkos. Bite has been strong to 11 am with another afternoon kick around 2pm. Anglers scored lots of limits. Nice sized trout ( near or over 2 pounds) were seen on stringers with many over 3 pounds. Hot spots included the eastern logged shore, grassy point and the western shore from the pump house to the bridge of lake 3 as well as the western, eastern and north shores of lake 2 especially near the bridge and inlets.

Catches of the Week: Mike Ybarra of Ontario limited and caught a 6 lbs 4 ozs rainbow on a gold and black Panther Martin while fishing the grassy point of lake 3. Sun City angler, Robert Endlich, used a chrome Kastmaster to catch his 4 lbs 1 ozs rainbow on the north shore of lake 2. Mark Landers of West Covina reeled in a nice 3 lbs 11 ozs trout using rainbow power bait near the pump house of lake 3. Larry Pete of Hesperia limited out with his 4 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on the eastern shore of lake 3 across from the pump house using a Silver Jake. Glendora angler, Vincent Thomas, used a night crawler and a power nugget to score his 3 lbs 6 ozs trout.
