Today we got right back on track catching Yellowtail at the islands. Over the weekend the counts were down a little bit probably because the boat pressure and tangles. But for Monday it was another story. Our anglers brought the right tackle and were ready to pull hard. With that said, we still lost a lot of fish today but lucky we landed enough to keep everyone happy. Still, if you’re coming out soon bring the heavy tackle, 40 to 60 pound line on a sturdy stick. We’ll put you on the fish but you have to do the rest! Today’s Fish Count: 8 boats and 126 anglers. 108 Yellowtail, 7 Calico Bass, 14 Lingcod, 5 Sheephead, 200 Whitefish and 195 Assorted Rockfish.
