Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; we arrived to our destination right at first call for lunch. It didn’t take long for the Yellowfin to find us, and it was game on. Most of the fish were in the 70 to 90 pound range, with a few over the 100 pound mark, and one fish that did stand out around 140 pounds. With a handful of Yellowtail, and most of those were 25 to 35 pounds, we did lose a few larger one’s to the rocks.
On the weather side, we had 10 to 12 knots of breeze, sunny, and warm. We had a great day of fishing, and we will try to make a tank of larger baits tonight. A few notable anglers, Ben Tchavtchavadze, with a nice Yellowfin (estimated 140) and a jumbo Yellowtail.
Manfred Schiruska (caught his daily limit of Yellowfin), just to name a few. We will give this the college try again tomorrow, so until fingers and key board meet again, good luck and good fishing.
