Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone;

We arrived to our first destination at 12:00 hours, we trolled around for a few minutes, before Roy made the decision to drop the anchor. Our weather was just gorgeous today, with a slight breeze, clear skies, and flat seas. It was a bit warm for some, but the weather was not the only thing that was warm. The tuna fishing heated up, with 40 to 60 pound fish showing, and as the day went on, the 80 to 120 pound fish started showing. We did have a few heartbreaks, but all in all today was a good day.

We had 10 to 12 fish over the hundred pound mark, with the largest being caught by Keith Fujimoto. Keith fish was estimated around 130 pounds, but we will know once we get in. We had a group of fish hooked, and all 5 were over the century mark, luck anglers were Keith Fujimoto, Judy Fisher, Dee Ann Stanton, Mike Wagner, just to name a few.

Top angler today was Manuel Angulo was top angler today with his daily limit of 5 Yellowfin tuna.

We also had an excellent bite into the night, with many fish in the 70 to 90 pound mark.

We’ll spend the night and try to make a tank of bait, so until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing. Team R/p
