Hey folks

We arrived at the island about 1400. We made very good speed coming across in flat calm weather. Upon arriving we didn’t see much fish at all, but after a couple hours the fish came on the shallows and put on an impressive show. They were feeding on flying fish and slender molas which you could see them boiling and crashing on these baits for miles. We got the anchor down and had fish around us constantly boiling but it was very hard to get a bite. Hopefully tomorrow they are more willing to bite the sardines. We ended up with a few fish from80-100#. Wish us luck tomorrow.

We got into the area just in time to pick off a couple schools...... Read More

These yft are acting like the bft up north. We took a tour and tried several nice kelps which some had free swimming yellowtail on them but they too didn’t want to bite well. The rest of the day was...... Read More
