Hey folks-
We arrived at the yellowfin ground about 0600. Shortly after arriving we had a stop for 30 or so fish. We stopped on more sonar schools and breezers afterward for a few boils only. These yft are acting like the bft up north. We took a tour and tried several nice kelps which some had free swimming yellowtail on them but they too didn’t want to bite well. The rest of the day was tough with only a few strikes here and there. There are plenty of fish around up and down the coast and with the warming water hopefully they turn in soon. A huge thanks to Fred for putting on another entertaining charter. Even though the fishing was a little slow, he kept everyone upbeat and and involved. We leave tomorrow on an open party three day trip. The weather forecast looks great and with the moon coming to full, hopefully the bft act right. We will check in tomorrow.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8030 to get in on the action.

We headed west for another...... Read More
