Channel Islands YELLOWS on the chew!

Channel Islands Sportfishing
Cisco’s boats end the weekend on a high note! Much like yesterday we had great weather at the islands but today the fishing was even better! Of course the bottom fishing was good especially for Whitefish but it was again the Yellowtail that stole the show. Many fish lost to tangles or pulled hooks but the end result was 4 fish short of 300 Yellows! We had a full day trip catch limits of Yellowtail plus limits of Calico Bass. Yes, that is 10 Yellowtail per angler! Others didn’t fare as well, hooking and losing more fish than they actually landed. But at least everyone had a shot at catching one of these hard fighting and great eating fish. Both the inner and outer islands are biting right now so clear that schedule and give us a call! Boats are filling fast on the weekends but weekday trips still have some availability.
Today’s Fish Count: 10 boats and 290 anglers.
618 Assorted Rockfish, 828 Ocean Whitefish, 52 Lingcod, 71 Perch, 6 Sculpin, 49 Sheephead, 1 Sole, 15 Barracuda, 121 Calico Bass, 61 Bonito and 296 Yellowtail.
