Summer surface bite at Cisco's
7-23-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
The HOT summer bite continues at Channel Islands. As you can see from todays count, all the boats are focusing on surface fishing. With the Yellowtail, Barracuda, Bonito and Calico’s biting like they are, it’s no wonder why top water has taken over. With beautiful weather, a good 25 degrees cooler than anywhere else, the boats are very busy. This is a great way to get out of the heat while having a ball catching fish. We are sold out for Sunday, but we do have a lot of space available for the upcoming week. Today’s Fish Count: 7 boats and 166 anglers caught 89 Assorted Rockfish, 4 Sculpin, 2 Sheephead, 4 Lingcod, 42 Ocean Whitefish, 130 Perch, 139 Calico Bass, 50 Barracuda, 160 Bonito and 103 Yellowtail.
