Very good morning bite on the yellows followed by a nice steady pick the rest of the day.
The quality was exceptional with a nice mix of 25lb plus fish topped by a 47lber.
By late afternoon we had our fill and are traveling up tonight to fish the coast for our final day.
Art Holcomb is in today's shot with a 30lber taken on the surface iron.

The day's saving grace was realized early. A strong morning of yellowtail action set things right establishing a clear path offshore is search of something, anything new. While there is offshore opportunity to the north the fleet is in need of something more. As is so often the case nothing less than effort on new ground is the call, success or otherwise. So we set out optimistic intent upon finding the mother lode. But it didn't happen. A long, fruitless afternoon...... Read More
