CATFISH
The catfish bite was strong this weekend! Anglers reeled in limits along Hermit Cove shoreline and in the back of Half Moon Cove. Catfish feeding along the shallow banks are biting on cut mackerel and chicken liver dough bait. 2000 lbs. of Catfish will be stocked this week for the Catfish Reopener event this Friday! BASS
Plastic worms are doing the trick! Bass are biting along the campground shoreline and by the T-dock. Gary Yamamoto Senkos are the favorite for catching bass at Lake Jennings.
PANFISH
The bluegill bite is the strongest its been this summer! Bluegill are being pulled out all over the lake with night crawlers. Popular spots are Cloister Cove and Hermit Cove.
CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Tony Brown of Mira Mesa reeled in his first catfish of the summer on Friday evening! Tony and his Uncle Lee finished the night with 2 catfish & a bluegill. Glenn and Jim caught 5 catfish a piece from Hermit Cove shoreline. They were using cut mackerel as bait. The total weight was 24 lbs.
