Channel Islands Sportfishing
Ending the week on a high note! Sunday has consistently been our best day in regards to game fish for the third or fourth week in a row. No rhyme or reason for it, simply luck of the draw. Conditions continue to improve with water temperatures reportedly 67 degrees at the islands and 68 along the coast. The ocean has been overall mellow and the winds have stayed down making the ride to and from the islands pleasant. Whether you’re looking for good bottom fishing or top water action, it’s all happening now. We have trips going out daily and even some specifically targeting top water species like Yellowtail and Calico Bass. Let's go fishing!
Today’s Fish Count: 12 boats and 293 anglers
2,304 Assorted Rockfish, 62 Sheephead, 120 Lingcod, 21 Sculpin, 91 Ocean Whitefish, 1 Cabezon, 5 Halibut, 32 Calico Bass, 14 Barracuda, 14 Yellowtail and 26 White Seabass.
