Channel Islands Sportfishing

The end of another weekend brings hope for the upcoming week! Sunday’s trips were a big mix of both open party and private charters. We had everything from small groups going for Calico Bass to big boat charters with the Boy Scouts. There was even a “go big or go home” charter targeting only big game fish. Today we also heard back from our 2-day trips that departed Friday night. Lots of fish caught today! Outer island weather was still nasty with endless wind and chop but the local spot were all fishable. As you can see from our fish count we caught a huge variety of species today. If you would like to get in on this action and go fishing on one of our upcoming trips give us a call or check out our website. Today’s Fish Count: 10 boats and 244 anglers 2,003 Assorted Rockfish, 139 Lingcod, 14 Sculpin, 95 Whitefish, 18 Sheephead, 3 Cabezon, 3 Barracuda, 5 Bonito, 29 Calico Bass and 7 Yellowtail.
