Cisco's Report for a windy Saturday
5-21-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Not too many boats out today because of a windy forecast. It did end up being bumpy but a couple of the boats got to go fishing. The Cobra was the first off the dock this morning with a private charter with only 12 anglers. They reported back no game fish but overall good bottom fishing for a variety of Rockfish species. They caught there limits of Rockfish plus a hand full of others to round out the day. The Gentleman was our sold out ¾ day trip that left the dock at about 6am. They had a tougher time dealing with not only weather but a lot of tangles due to a full boat. They only caught about 4 fish per angler but judging by the passengers departing the boat it was a successful day. Everyone had a good time hanging with friends and family and caught enough to have fish tacos tonight!
Tomorrow we will have a lot more to report as the weather forecast on the local grounds is much better. Also to be included in our count for Sunday is a pair of 2-day trips that departed Friday. Stay tuned!
