Hello everyone; Well after a good breakfast, we made a stop at Alijos rocks, and did it pay off. The plan was to fish for an hour for some Wahoo and may be a few Yellowtail.

Well the Yellowtail had something to say about that. We stayed at Alijos rocks until 14:00 hours. We had an excellent day of Yellowtail fishing, with most of the fish in the 18 to 25 pound range, with a few larger Yellowtail, and a handful of Wahoo.

The best fishing was on the drift, we did try a couple of anchor jobs, but the bite was steady on the drift. Once we departed Alijos, Roy gave a seminar on drift fishing for Yellowfin tuna, drag settings, and how to fight Yellowfin on the drift. After the seminar, the crew went to work, helping passengers with wind-on-leaders, top-shots, more kite leaders, wire leaders. It was a very busy day on the Royal Polaris.
