Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone, we departed on our last long trip of the season. With 26 happy anglers, and good load of bait, we are headed for points south. Roy Rose will be at the helm this trip, with the crew of Dharyl, Rambo, Eddie, Chris, Deron, Joseph, and Alex. After Roy gave his safety seminar, we had a great lunch. Shrimp and beef tacos, prepared by our new chef Joseph. The chartermaster for the trip Sal Vallone, with his side kick Jamie Massion, this trip will be full of surprises.
We took a look on the way down, hoping we would find some Bluefin action, but with the weather a bit windy, there was no Bluefin to be had. Tomorrow, the crew will start getting everyone ready for battle, doing wind-on leaders, kite leaders, top shots, and just teaching the new passengers the ropes on catching giant Yellowfin and speedy wahoo.
After dinner tonight, the group gave Sal a birthday cake, did the birthday song for Sal, and the funny thing about that, Sal’s birthday was last week. Jamie has started already, good times and fun ahead.

In summary, this was a very challenging trip that had two medical emergencies, lots of sharks and lots of travel time. Through all of it, my fellow passengers never complained and understood that %&* happens and you need to maintain a positive attitude. There are many groups I have fished with that wouldn’t have handled it in as classy a...... Read More
