Lake Amador resort checked in this morning with an update from the spawning beds. They said, "Kurt Burk landed a nice 3lb bass this morning in the cove below campsite 112. Not sure what he caught it on but I think it was released back to the spawning grounds "

The trout fishing continues to be pretty good with plants taking place every other week. The fish are going deeper in the 15 foot range where trollers dragging Rapalas and dunking Power Bait getting the action. The impoundment is nearly full. Take time to enjoy the great outdoors.
