Hello everyone’ Well our weather has not changed yet, but the hasn’t stop the fish from biting. We had another good day of Yellowfin and Wahoo fishing. It was a 50/50 day, with half the count being Yellowfin and the same amount of Wahoo.
The Wahoo were all good size fish, with most being in the 35 to 40 pound range.
On the other hand, the Yellowfin were in the 150 to 170 range, with a few in the 190 category, and we did have 3 fish over 200 pounds today.
Big fish honors goes to Kim Hofer, with a 263 pound Yellowfin tuna, caught on the kite, Ron Kusumi and Calvin Fujimoto caught a 217 pound Yellowfin tuna, but what’s funny about this, the fish took both the baits, so they split the fish, Gary Ahsing caught a 216 pound Yellowfin tuna on the kite. We will try to make some flyer tonight, but after last night, we will be lucky to see any. So until tomorrow, wish us luck.
