Hey folks-
This morning the action started earlier than normal. About 0800 we kicked the anchor over on a few scattered fish and started biting right away. Belly hooked sardines on 80# flurocarbon was the ticket as all thee fish were big. We kept 4-10 fish going throughout the morning. The average size fish was 90-100# with at least 10 fish going over 100#! The grade of fish this trip is surreal! Less than a days ride from San Diego you have the chance at a fish of a lifetime. The biggest fish taped out at 142. Absolutely incredible fishing.

About 1300 a wave of green water came through and shut the bite down we took a tour around and tried a couple anchor jobs for nothing. Just as the sun was about to set we set up on a hard bottom ridge with good life and the quality yellowtail got on us and bit through dinner and into the night. Great way to end an awesome day. We are going to hang tight here for the night and see what the morning brings. Hopefully this green water flushes out and the tuna are ready to bite in the am.
