The lingcod and rockfish were chomping good today! We had 3 really nice early limits of lings and quality rockfish with many reds, coppers, cabezone, and chinas with only a few blacks for a change for the private charter of 2 guys. The fishing over the last couple weeks has been mostly commercial days here and there with weather between. This sept is definitely a rough one so far but I still am waiting for some good weather to get back offshore for tuna. We have live bait available and I am ready to run. Until then, give me a shout if you want to get to the cape for this outstanding rockfishing.
