Well weather today was about as good as it's gets. Flat seas, clear skies, and all the sunshine you could ask for. The weather was not the only thing that was good.
Our morning started out with a bang, with fish showing around the boat. This would be the first morning that we would have an early morning bite. Most of the fish in the early morning bite were in the 40 to 50 pound catogory, with a few going over the century mark. We would start looking again, but it was hit and miss. The afternoon, would pay off with some quality fish, up-to 190 pounds. The Cow's are around, they are showing, with some of the boats in the area getting fish over 300 pounds. It's only a matter of time before these fish start it bite.
Lucky anglers today Steve Tsujiuchi (est #190), Perry Ishibashi (est #190), Jim Border (est #180), and John Natsume (est #190).
There is plenty of life around, and lots of fish showing, just not bitting yet. We would end up with a good day, just not Cow's yet. But tomorrow brings another day, and I just have that feeling that tomorrow will bring the Cow's home. So until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.
P.S. Grand-pop and Dad wanted to say hi to Makala & Kailea. Grand-pop also wanted to say he caught more and larger fish than Dan.
P.S.S. Perry would like to thank his wife for getting him this trip for his 50th birthday.

Well the only thing that was on the bright-side was the weather. We had excellent weather today, with flat seas, clear skies, and warm in the afternoon. That's the only thing that was on the bright side today. We had a very long and slow day. We only had few fish until late afternoon. We had a good evening bite, but the rest of the day was very slow. Most of the Yellowfin were in the 35 to 50 pound...... Read More
