Royal Polaris Fishing Report

Royal Polaris Crew

Good evening folks. We had an action packed day here aboard the Royal. We were headed south and the plan was for mostly a travel day headed to Cedros, but plans quickly changed. We started off this morning by finding our first kelp early, and there was no shortage of kelps today. We had steady action all day long and most of the kelps we found were holding fish. We ended up with daily limits of 12-15 pound Yellowfin Tuna as well as some beautiful 18-25 pound Yellowtail. We even caught a few handfuls of Dorado. Our weather today was outstanding, sunny and warm, with just enough breeze to keep it comfortable. We are now headed for the island and should be there in the early hours of the morning. Hopefully the Yellowtail are there waiting. We will check back in tomorrow. Wish us luck!
