Shogun Fishing Report

Shogun Office Staff

Hey folks-

We spent the night on the anchor in the Lee of an island and after a great night sleep pulled the anchor and headed out in search of Yellowtail.

It didn’t take long to find our first spot of fish but the schools throughout the early morning would flash and then keep on going. No matter how much bait was thrown the fish did not want to stick around the boat very long until late morning. Our first good stop was for 45. The fish ate everything we threw at them including yoyo jugs, surface iron and flylined sardines.

We strung a few stops together and ended up with a beautiful day of limits style Yellowtail fishing.

We are headed out to the tuna grounds below San Clemente island tonight and will wake up on location.
Wish us luck and calm seas.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8030 to get in on the action.
