7/27/15 Good fishing today; steady scratching punctuated by hot and heavy action. Yellowtail in the 15 – 25 pound class were the prize with a few standout trophies to keep it interesting. Though conditions weren't perfect – choppy seas strengthend quads and calfs all day long – the fishing made good times of it. We logged this one in the success column while enjoying a restoritive evening in the flat calm lee of these islands. Tomorrow we'll be targeting alternative species looking to expand the catch into the tuna, dorado, and wahoo zones. Photos today feature a couple of long time Royal Star veterans enjoying the moment. Lohn Storms picked up the fish of the day that weighed in at 41 pounds and AJ Burns picked up this 25 pound class dandy on the surface iron.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
