Back it at today turning around on our annual Floyd Abbott seven day run heading for southern glory; or whatever else comes along. Needless to say this year has already produced anomalies that one can only describe as extraordinary – mainly the quantity and quality of tuna available in local waters. Though not biting yet, aside from a few fair to middlin' day's of production, odds are that they will. And when they do, combined with all the tropical varieties storming north in advancing warm water, all bets are off. Predictions in fishing are rife with peril, but I am going to venture that we will all be remembering what is yet to come this season for the remainder of our days. For now we focus south seeking new opportunity. There are presently a lot of stones yet unturned. Of course our adventurous notions will be best undertaken with a few fish under our belts. Tomorrow we will set to that exact task in full search mode while heading down. Breezy conditions offshore the next few days promise to make a chore of it so a few alternatives are in the game plan to offset the rockin' and rollin'. After the tantrum we will certainly be dedicating ample time to the offshore search both below and above. The show is on. On an admin note we have added two new three day voyages to our schedule in October looking to take advantage of what we are confident will be strong offshore and coastal fishing during that time. Saturday October 3 - Tuesday October 6th, and Friday October 9th - Monday October 12th are the days of the mini long range runs that will very likely feature real deal long range opportunities.
