Cisco's Report for Monday - Tropical Conditions!
7-20-2015
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Hot and tropical! That’s the best way to describe the conditions on the water today. As for fishing the bass were biting everything. Not only are the air temperatures up but the water temp’s are too. This warming trend increases a fish’s metabolism thus needing to feed more frequently. Fishing “top water” is becoming the average these days and we cannot stress enough for our anglers to be ready for anything. Things are changing so we want everyone to be ready in case you are on this first trip things go crazy.
Lastly, we have a cool “side story” from today’s fishing. One lucky angler, who just so happened to be on his first ocean trip caught 3 Halibut aboard the Aloha Spirit. We told him to be sure to buy a lottery ticket tonight!
Today's Fish Count: 6 Boats and 77 Anglers
