Fish Report for 7-4-2015

Giving it our all

7-4-2015
James McDaniels

It looks like the steady Bluefin fishing we have been enjoying slowed to a crawl today and the fish took the holiday off as we only landed a few for our efforts but Captain Jimmy and crew never gave up and adapted to the changes by combing the grounds and with the help of the fleets finest overnight boats, some beautiful grade Yellowfin Tuna were located. In the eleventh hour, the Grande was sliding on big spots of fish up on the surface and on the sonar. The first stop was chaos (as can be imagined after a painfully slow day of searching) and only five fish were landed out of countless hook-ups, but on the second stop the gang was more prepared and landed over twenty. Captain Jim had to hang up the phone as he slid into his third spot and the yelling downstairs was obvious over the satellite phone. It was 6:00 PM on our 1 day trip and the guys were still fishing as of this report. We don't give up easy folks....

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 222-1144 to get in on the action.
