What an Awesome week at the Islands

Captain Taro aboard the San Diego has called in with 145 yellowtail for his three quarter day trip to the Coronado Islands. Yesterday the San Diego returned with 251 yellowtail. These fish are 15-20lbs and are very eager to bite the live bait and jigs. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30am and requires a passport or passport card to board. The Tribute returned this morning from a day and a half trip with 19 yellowfin tuna (18-45lbs) and 45 yellowtail. The Endeavor is returning from a one day trip with 28 bluefin tuna for his 20 anglers.

Captain Ryan Bostain aboard the San Diego has called in another day of awesome fishing, catching 251 yellowtail. This fish is 15-20lbs and are eating everything from a live bait to the surface iron. The San Diego is chartered for tomorrow but will resume its open party trips Monday the 29th of June departing at 5:30 am. 6/27/15 10:25am - The San Diego just reported in with 100+ yellowtail and still fishing! 3/4 day fishing at the Coronado Islands has been very good, with good sized fish (15-25#) biting on just about anything you throw at them. Dropper loops, yo-yo irons, surface irons and fly-lining live bait are all working.
