Sea Adventure 80 Bluefin Tuna Update

6-1-2015
Scott McDaniels

Capt Scott McDaniels on the Sea Adventure 80 checked in to report that they are seeing more Tuna this year than in the past several years. We returned yesterday with 16 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Yellowfin Tuna and 4 Yellowtail, the amount of Tuna we saw was large and widespread. It is very important to bring a wide variety of tackle to make sure you are ready, some of the smaller schools are 25 to 30 lbs and we stopped on a school of 70 lbers. We would like everyone to bring a 60 lb setup and 4/0 circle hooks as they usually do not pull out. On of these days one of these larger grade schools will be ready to bite and you want to make sure you have the right gear. We highly recommend that your make your reservations early as boats are going to start fuilling up fast and you need to make sure you can get on your favorite boat this season. Our entire crew is ready to insure you have a great time and have a successful trip, hope to see you on the boat soon.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE. You can give us a call at the landing (619) 222-1144 or call Scott at (619) 247-8971 to get in on the action.
