DFG Bowhunting Course Offered April 9

The Department of Fish and Game's Advanced Hunter Education Program will offer a bowhunting workshop Sunday, April 9 at the Wilderness Unlimited property in Williams.

DFG, in partnership with the International Bowhunters Education Program and Wilderness Unlimited, is offering a seminar "How to set your bow up to shoot broadheads," which includes paper tuning your arrows, matching arrows to bow and broadhead to the arrow.

??The course, at a cost of $30, features instructor Bill Hom, owner of B & K Archery in Chico for over 30 years.?? It will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.?? There will be plenty of hands-on experiences and time for practicing and all students need to bring their hunting bows and arrows to the seminar. Also, bring your own lunch; bottled water will be provided.?? Registration forms are available at www.dfg.ca.gov/huntingclinics or by calling 530-347-3980.
