The Rockcod and Lingcod fishing was good today up the coast near Franklin Point, Davenport, and Natural Bridges. The Red Tide has started to leave us and the fish are getting back on the bite. The season ends next Saturday so come on out while the fish are on the bite and the water is flat. Don't forget that the Halibut season is open all year long. Jimmy on Becky Ann came in today with a nice 22 pound late season Halibut off Davenport. The Halibut was caught on a dead Anchovy drifting in 60-75 feet of water. There were 3 boats that I spoke to who went looking for Albacore today but they came home empty. They looked around the 36'36/122'40 area in flat calm seas and green water that was 56.5 degrees. The weather looks good until Tuesday when a possible storm may come our way. There are Crabs for sale in the Harbor if you are looking to get fresh oil free crab.
