Steinaker Reservoir Fish Report

5-20-2015
Utah Division of Wildlife

Anglers report fair to excellent rainbow fishing from shore and boats. Bass moved back into the shallows prior to being shut down again by the storms. After a few warm days, the bass will return to the shallows and this time, likely followed by the bluegill. Worms and artificial baits are working well from shore while crankbaits and brightly colored spoons are producing for boaters. Some fish are along the surface while most appear to be deep, with many in the 30- to 40-foot range. The water level is low, so watch for rocks and sandbars.
