California Department of Fish and Wildlife planted 35,000 fingerling (2”-3”) German Brown Trout on 4-30-2015.

More fish planting is reported to follow for Caples Lake and Silver Lake. We will keep you posted on the dates and times.

We currently are renting Cabins and Lodge Rooms and Fishing Boats & Kayaks.

The Store, Marina and Launch Ramp will be open May 1st… Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The EID/USFS Public Launch Ramp is scheduled to open May 1st.

The water temperature is 48 degrees and the fishing is heating up, so come on out to Caples Lake and get your fishing on.
