With flat calm weather in the forecast and steadily improving salmon catches we decided to go for salmon today. For some reason the salmon did not know that they were invited to our "party" and were mostly no-shows. One lucky angler went home with his limit but other than that it was a lot of sub-legal fish and hit and run no-shows. The fish are out there and conditions are looking good with good water color and temps and lots of bait. We just need some hungry biters.
