Royal Polaris
5-3-2015
Roy Rose
Capt Roy Rose checked in last night from the Royal Polaris and reported that they ended up with a good day with 17 Yellowfin and 18 Wahoo for our efforts. Half the fish were in the 40 to 70 pound range, the rest were over the 100 pound mark, with one fish over 200. Largest fish today was caught by Willy Leung. Willy's fish weighed in at 204.4 pounds, which was caught on the kite. Majority of the larger fish today were on the kite. Harmon Rider caught the largest bait fish today, on a mackerel. Harmon fish weighed in at 178.0 pounds. More Wahoo are starting to show on the bank. Weather cooled of some today, the morning was very warm, but by the afternoon we had overcast skies, 10 to 12 knots of breeze, which cooled everyone off. Tonight we'll try to get a few tanks of Flying fish for the kite. That our report for today, so until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p
