Gull Lake produced for us!
4-26-2015
Chad Woods
The 2015 Trout Opener has come and gone. The morning started with a Winter Storm that produced snow accumulations across the Sierra. We started the morning at day break at Gull Lake in the June Lake Loop. The weather made the morning that much more memorable. We had a group of three and we had some very nice fish. Don Padick has a 3.75 pound Rainbow Trout and another 2.75 pounder to go with it. Your's truly lucked out and scored a 1.75 pound Cutthroat Trout. The fishing was very good for us during the storm and immediately following the end of it. However as the afternoon moved on the bite died. The fishing was poor again today. The winds were up and that always seems to make things difficult. Stay tuned for move info as the trout season continues ...
