Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, California Draws on Yosemite

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, California is offering a three-day artistic instructional workshop, "Drawing on Nature," from May 12 through 14. The comprehensive workshop will feature famed wildlife artist, Bill Peters, and offer his techniques in pencil, pen, and chalk. Participants can expect to draw anything, from a leaf, a feather, and even Half Dome before the weekend is over. "Picture yourself sitting below Half Dome or Bridal Veil Falls creating a memory all your own," said Susan Herrgesell, BOW, California president. "If you ever wanted to learn to draw or better your skills don't miss this comprehensive workshop." Participants will stay at the beautiful Yosemite Bug, a classic rustic resort. Rooms are dormitory style. Delicious meals will be served at the Yosemite Bug caf??. Arrival time is after 2 p.m. Friday and departure is noon on Sunday.
