Three quarter day yellowtail

The San Diego has been on fire with his three quarter day yellowtail counts, pulling in today with 116 yellowtail. The fish today ate the surface jig and yo yo jig, so be prepared for both styles of fishing.
The Tribute has been running one and one half day trips to the Cortez bank catching a smorgasbord of fish including bluefin tuna, yellowtail and rockfish.
The New Seaforth's half day trips have had excellent fishing for tasty bottom dwellers with an occasional white seabass or yellowtail.

4:00 p.m. Thursday: The Tribute is up to 9 Bluefin and 67 Yellowtail so far with a few more Bluefin hooked. The Pacific Voyager, on a Baja coast 3/4 day charter, caught 29 Yellowtail for 18 anglers. The Pacific Voyager's Baja coast 1.5 day departing Friday is a go for sure! The New Seaforth has been having very good bottom fishing for rockfish, but with water temperatures more late Spring like than late Winter like, the wise,wary and ready angler would be bringing......
