3/12/15 12:00PM - The San Diego just called in from their 3/4 Day Trip. So far they have 50+ yellowtail on the boat, and still fishing! We still have room on the 3/4 Day over the next few days, so make your reservations now and get in on some March yellowtail.

3-12-2015The Coronado Islands continue to kick out some quality Yellowtail fishing for the 3/4 day boat San Diego. Thursdays trip landed 92 Yellows for 51 anglers. Most fish are being caught on the yo-yo jig and dropper looped sardine but there are a few surface iron fish also. The New Seaforth's 1/2 day trips are catching rockfish, sculpin, and lingcod. The New Seaforth had excellent fishing on the morning and afternoon 1/2 day trips today. Both trips had over 200 rockfish plus samples of lingcod, sheephead, sculpin and whitefish. 1/2 day trips depart daily at 6:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The San Diego's 3/4 day trip captured 54 yellowtail for 48 anglers. Some fish are being caught on the surface iron but the wise angler would fish the yo-yo jig on 50#line. The Tribute is a go for this weekends 1.5 day...... Read More
