Variety is the spice of these fall trips. Different species, area's and methods. Today we checked another species off the list. The dorado we found were aggressively feeding as they turned the water another shade of fluorescent blue. It took a few stops, but we managed to catch as many as our anglers either could reasonably use or legally could take. The fish ranged from 15-25# and put on a great show. We will be back on the coast for our final two days of fishing looking to tangle with some yellowtail.

Clyde Wickham managed to get into both pictures today. First he is all smiles as he shows off one of his dorado. Second he is "that guy" as crewman Paul Caramao holds one up for Jan Abbott. All in good fun.

10/21/14 Today we enjoyed the fast paced action of wahoo fishing. It wasn't sheer pandemonium as we caught them one to four at a time, but it felt like it for the anglers who chased the speedsters around the boat. 10/20/14 This morning we had some action on the tuna while looking for yellows around a couple of shallows. With limited success finding the grade of yellows we were after, we started looking elsewhere. After a few hours of looking we threw in the towel and traveled for the afternoon with just a couple dorado strikes for our efforts.
