We have beautiful weather offshore currently, as good as you can hope for when hunting the often elusive bluefin tuna. Today they were not elusive. They showed and we had some truly spectacular views of shining bluefin right next to the boat. Unfortunately they had a severe case of lock jaw and getting a bite proved very difficult. However we did manage to put a few samples on board. Karl Fechner gets the honors today with a 25# fish that fell for a sardine.
