Another fine day of quality yft angling in surreal grease calm weather. The bite was more traditional today with the morning and evening bites producing most of the action while midday was very slow. Our tally today was 25 highlighted by a couple more deuces with the rest ranging from 90-170lbs.

02/12/14 Balmy flat calm weather and great fishing to get the trip started on the right foot today. It started out with a shot in the dark then settled into a slow plunk the rest of the day, a perfect big fish pace. We ended up with 38 yft, five of which made the mark ranging from 216 to 265 while the rest were 70-170lbs. With six more days we are settling in with hopes it keeps up. 02/11/14 Today is our final day of travel before we get our annual Las Rocas 15-day started tomorrow morning. The weather has been unpleasant until this afternoon when it became balmy and started to glass off.
