Great weather and steady fishing is the report from the Bank today. Upon arrival this morning we started scratching right away but it wasn't until the afternoon when the bite picked up and the grade of fish improved. We ended up keeping 44 yft from 70 to 180lbs with two more making the 200lb mark.
The bulk of the fish were taken on the good old fashioned 100lb flyline gear which made for a fun day of angling.
Mike Nagao is in today's shot with a 250, the fish to beat so far.

1-29-201401/28/14 Considerably slower today with inconsistent conditions and an overall lack of life prompting a move to a new location this afternoon. Fortunately we did have a decent morning shot that produced two more over 200 and 12 other stock grade fish. Long time Royal Star veteran Murray Darch is in today's shot with a 224. 01/27/14 We got the trip started on the right foot this morning with a 220 hitting the deck within the first hour of angling. After a good morning bite we slow scratched the rest of the afternoon and were able to piece together a fine day. Good grade overall with five of the 28 tuna we kept breaking the 200lb mark while another five weighed in at 150 to 190. Nacho is in today's shot making Oceanside proud with a 231.
